Some weddings stay with you long after you’ve packed away your camera, and this was one of them. I recently had the absolute joy of photographing a wedding that was filled with love, laughter, and family. The couple, surrounded by their closest friends and family, made sure their two young sons were an important part of their big day, making it even more special. It was one of those weddings where I felt more like a guest than just the Dublin wedding photographer, and that’s always a good sign! The couple and their families got ready in the beautiful Clontarf Castle Hotel and then had their ceremony in Dublin's City Hall.

From the lively city center, we made our way to the stunning Clontarf Castle Hotel for the reception and dancing. As a Clontarf Castle wedding photographer, I can’t recommend this venue enough! Clontarf Castle is an absolute dream for a wedding—it blends historic charm with modern luxury. The castle’s grand entrance, beautiful stone walls, and warm, welcoming interiors set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening. The reception room was elegantly decorated, and as the guests gathered, there was an atmosphere of pure joy. And the dancing? Epic! From the moment the music started, the dance floor was packed, and the energy was electric. There’s nothing like seeing a room full of people, young and old, dancing their hearts out to celebrate a love story. The sun was shining down on us all day, and despite the crisp winter chill in the air, the warmth of the people made it feel like the sunniest day of the year.
