There's something so magical about Dublin CIty Centre at Christmas. With the gorgeous Christmas decorations around the city, the festive buzz in the air met with the gorgeous cobble stones of Temple Bar and Dublin's historical streets - Its the perfect location for an engagement shoot. I love photographing in Dublin City Centre, there's always so much to see and do, so much variety, colour and different backdrops to use for photos & having the engagement photoshoot in Dublin at Christmas, made it all the more special.
I had the absolute pleasure of spending a sunny wintry afternoon with this wonderful couple to celebrate their engagement and capture their love in some of Dublin's most iconic loations.
A wander through Stephen's Green.
We started our photoshoot in Stephen's Green. The couple strolled hand in hand through the gorgeous park and then we found a cozy bench where I photographed a few intimate shots. The seagulls in Stephen's green are aplenty! I asked a passerby to throw some bread near the couple so that I could incorporate these mad birds in a few photos.
Christmas Cheer on Grafton Street. Engagment Photoshoot Dublin.
Grafton street was alive with music from buskers and shoppers went to and fro, pubs were busy and the christmas decorations everywhere added to the festive atmosphere. We took advantage of everything, capturing gorgeous couple's portraits in among the busy streets and used the vibrant shop windows as backdrops to create some gorgeous photographs.
Romantic River, Engagement Photoshoot Dublin
We paused on the bridge overlooking the River Liffey to capture some beautiful photographs with Dublin's most famous river as the backdrop. The setting was pure romance!
Temple bar, my favourite place in Dublin!
To finish the session, we headed to Temple Bar, where the cobbled streets and iconic pubs were buzzing. I love to use the Button Factorys red wall of fame as a backdrop to photo's (although I feel like cloning Bono out haha). Amid the vibrant, festive atmosphere, we found some quiet nooks for some candids and we highlighted the couple's playful side.
