Couples Photography Dublin & Ireland

 

There is something absolutely magical about photographing two people who are completely mad about each other. Just the two of you, somewhere you love, being yourselves for an hour while I follow you around with a camera and try not to get too emotional about how lovely you both are.

Couples sessions are one of my favourite things to do. Whether you're newly engaged and want some gorgeous photos to announce it to the world, you want to do a pre-wedding shoot to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day, or you just fancy some beautiful photographs of the two of you together because why not — I am absolutely here for it.

No awkward posing, no "now look at each other and laugh", no doing anything that doesn't feel like you. Just a relaxed, fun session that ends with photographs you'll genuinely love.

my approach


I'm not going to hand you a list of poses and work through them one by one. That's not how I work and honestly it's not how the best photographs happen either.


What I will do is bring you somewhere that feels like you,  a favourite spot in Dublin, a pub you love, a beach, a park, wherever makes you feel most like yourselves — and then just hang out with you for a bit. We'll walk, we'll chat, I'll give you the odd gentle direction when it helps and the rest of the time I'll just be watching and waiting for the real stuff to happen. The look between you when something funny happens. The way you lean into each other without thinking about it. The laugh that comes out of nowhere.

Pre-wedding shoots


If you've booked your wedding with me, you can add a pre-wedding shoot at a discounted rate and honestly I cannot recommend it enough. It's the best way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day so that by the time your wedding comes around you're completely relaxed and we already know each other.


But here's the thing — you don't need to be getting married to book a couples shoot with me at all!!


An anniversary, a new chapter, a big birthday or just because you're mad about each other and you want some gorgeous photographs to prove it — book the shoot!


Life is short, you're only here once and you're feckin gorgeous together. That's reason enough for me!
