Bloomfield House Hotel Wedding Photography | A Real Wedding in the Rain!
If you're planning your wedding at Bloomfield House Hotel in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, and looking for a natural, documentary wedding photographer in Ireland, you're in the right place!
With its beautiful lakeside setting overlooking Lough Ennell, gardens and lovely surroundings, Bloomfield House Hotel is a gorgeous spot to celebrate your wedding day.
The photographs I'm sharing here are from a wedding day when it absolutely lashed rain ALL day long! And do you know what? It didn't matter one bit. The buzz, the craic, the emotion and the people made the day what it was. That's what really matters!
My approach to wedding photography is relaxed, natural and documentary-led. I capture the day as it unfolds, from the happy tears and big hugs to the madness on the dance floor. I'm not going to have you posing for hours or dragging you away from your guests every five minutes. I want you to enjoy your wedding, spend time with your favourite people and let me capture the story as it happens.
And when it comes to the Irish weather? The buzz is the important bit, not the weather!
If it rains, we adapt. We make use of the beautiful indoor spaces, find sheltered spots and head outside whenever we can. If you're happy to embrace the rain, brilliant! If you'd rather stay warm and dry, that's grand too. My job is to work with whatever the day throws at us and make sure you still get gorgeous photographs.
You absolutely do not need sunshine for beautiful wedding photos. Some of the most memorable moments happen when things don't go to plan, and I'm always ready to capture them.
So, if you're getting married at Bloomfield House Hotel and want natural, candid, documentary wedding photography without the awkward posing and fuss, I'd love to hear from you.
Based in Dublin and photographing weddings throughout Westmeath and across Ireland, I believe your wedding photographs should tell the real story of your day — rain, laughter, happy tears and all!
Because the weather might be miserable, but the memories can still be bloody brilliant.
